CIAA basketball Tournament

Thank you for contacting the Official Housing Bureau of the 2023 CIAA Basketball Tournament!

A room block has been created and the rooms have been secured for Fayetteville State University – Alumni at the Baltimore Hilton Inner Harbor.

Room Sub-Block Request: We made sure to fulfill your block request for the peak nights of the event (Feb. 23-25, 2023) first, then the nights pre and post, based on availability. If you do not see all the rooms you need on any of the pre and post nights, additional inventory may be added at a later date. We will be working with the hotels on that process and will notify you when necessary.

If you sell out of your room inventory and you find you need more rooms, you may submit a second request for additional rooms in writing to theciaa@conferencedirect.com (availability cannot be guaranteed).

Suite requests will be handled at a later date. We will contact you when we have secured suites for you.

Baltimore Hilton Inner Harbor:

Your confirmed room block as noted below is based on the actual number of rooms booked in your block from 2022 plus a 5% increase (if applicable).

Room Rates: $195.00 plus taxes/fees per night, King and Double Beds

*Please note all rates are for single/double occupancy. Rates may increase with additional occupancy.

Hotel Cut-off Date: January 30, 2023

*You may make individual hotel reservation changes and cancellations with the CIAA Housing Bureau, ConferenceDirect, until 5:00 p.m. ET on this designated cut-off date for your hotel.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES AND POLICIES:

• Deadline to Assign Rooms: Your block must be finalized with individual guest names and details by January 6 2023. Effective January 9, 2023, any rooms that you do not assign will be Reservations must include unique guest names so that they are not marked as duplicate reservations and possibly forfeited by the hotel.
• Cancellations/Modifications: Name changes and/or date modifications will be accepted based on availability through ConferenceDirect until January 30, 2023. Effective January 31, 2023, you may make changes directly with the hotels based on their

• Deposits: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservations. The Hotel will charge a deposit equal to one night’s stay plus tax on or after January 31, 2023. Reservations must be cancelled (72) hours prior to arrival to avoid loss of one night’s room and tax deposit. The CIAA Housing Bureau, ConferenceDirect, will charge a cancellation processing fee for reservations cancelled beginning on June 9, 2022. The below cancellation charges will appear on your credit card as “ConferenceDirect LLC.”

How to Make Modifications or Cancellations: To modify or cancel your existing reservations, please do the following:

Click “Manage Existing Reservations”

1. Enter the acknowledgment number and corresponding last name as it appears on the reservation
2. Select “Show Reservation”
3. The system will pull up the reservation and, on the reservation information, click “Modify”
4. You will then be able to change the name, billing address, credit card information, etc.
